• Civil Rights Commission to Host January Meeting in Lansing
On January 25, 2010, the Michigan Civil Rights Commission will hold its bi-monthly meeting. This will take place at the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, Capital Tower Building, 110 W. Michigan Avenue, Suite 800, Lansing, MI 48913.

• Draft Environmental Justice Plan 
In 2007, Gov. Granholm issued Directive No. 2007-23, charging the DEQ with developing and implementing a state environmental justice plan to promote environmental justice in Michigan. The Michigan Department of Civil Rights is a proud partner in this effort to include environmental justice principles as a guide in future state policy actions.
